Jesus desires an intimate relationship, a close bonding with us
all. We all have freedom of choice with our Lord, we
must allow him to draw us into a oneness with him. Our
daily lives with him creates a tapestry which is continually in
the weaving. This will undoubtedly include trials and hardships
along the way but allowing God to be God, he will lead us
through.
We embrace the storms in our life (which come anyway, to both sinners
and saints), these can strengthen both faith and trust
in the Lord. These trials make us more than what we would have
been, had we not gone through in the first place.
Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his
house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds
blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was
founded upon a rock.
Luke puts it like this...
Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep,
and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the
stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it:
for it was founded upon a rock.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
When I say Jesus is the way, the only way, and there is no
other way ... this is like saying marriage vows at a wedding, this
is my spouse, my only spouse, and there is no other spouse. I
put the circumstance into the Lord's hand and submit to his
direction and he will be faithful to lead me through.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way,
the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Here we see the storm came unto both houses, but the house built with
Jesus withstood the storm...
Matthew 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the
winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was
founded upon a rock. [26] And every one that heareth these
sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a
foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: [27] And the
rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat
upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
How do we become Founded Upon A Rock?
First, remember we are bought with a price and are not our own...
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple
of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye
are not your own? 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore
glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only (James 1:22)…
James 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath
shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. [14] What
doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and
have not works? can faith save him? [15] If a brother or sister
be naked, and destitute of daily food, [16] And one of you say
unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful
to the body; what doth it profit? [17] Even so faith, if it hath
not works, is dead, being alone.
James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without
works is dead? [26] For as the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without works is dead also.
Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and
all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne
of his glory: [34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right
hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared
for you from the foundation of the world: [35] For I was an
hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in: [36] Naked, and ye clothed
me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came
unto me. [37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord,
when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave
thee drink? [38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in?
or naked, and clothed thee? [39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in
prison, and came unto thee?
Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily
I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least
of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. [41] Then shall he
say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed,
into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: [42]
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and
ye gave me no drink: [43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in:
naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited
me not.
Matthew 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when
saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or
sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? [45] Then
shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as
ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
[46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but
the righteous into life eternal.
The more close we come to God, the more we endeavor to go and
do as he did...
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments,
that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in
through the gates into the city.
Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the
Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of
kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and
faithful.
The Giver Of Life gave up His life that We May Live.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than
the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and
honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every
man.
John 10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father:
and I lay down my life for the sheep.
In his name we are buried in baptism.
In his name we enter into life.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be
saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. [10] The thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am
come that they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through him might be saved.
1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye
holy in all manner of conversation; [16] Because it is written,
Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Holiness is not just an outward appearance, it is not just what
you look like, but it is your heart. The heart of the matter is
the holiness. Do you find me holy in your heart. Do you bow down
to me in your heart. Do you look to me through your heart. Do you
ask Jesus make my heart holy, because the outer appearance will
not make you holy, it will not allow you into my kingdom, for the
outer appearance is not what I look at. I look at the heart, and
when it bows down I see that. I say look into your heart and say
Jesus give me holiness.

Word of God - Sword of the Lord and Bible
Versions:
Exodus 34:5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him
there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 34:6 And the LORD passed by
before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and
gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 34:7
Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and
sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity
of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children,
unto the third and to the fourth generation.
God's name is his character, and cannot separate him from his name. His
name is what his name means: merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and
abundant in goodness and truth.
God's name is not simply a word that we speak with our wits, but its a
character, a nature, its a state of heart and mind and action, its a
place in the spirit, its who he is. When people truly see his name they
will truly bow and kneel before him, its at his name that every knee
will bow and tongue confess that he is Lord.
In Acts 19:13-16 those used his name but didn't walk in his name, they
weren't living like the apostles, and they ended up wounded and fled
naked. They wielded a sword that wasn't even sharp, but because they
did not walk in his name, it was dull and heavy. They needed to be
baptized in Jesus Name and have the blood over them, so to walk truly
in that name.
The Word under attack.
When comparing the different versions of the Bible, we notice major
differences. For example, In Matthew chapter 17 (KJV) Jesus talks about
casting out a devil...
Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
This verse is not in the NIV. What scripture do we suppose the devil
would like to take out from the word of God? the one that talks about
about prayer and fasting, so no one can cast him out.
There is less anointing in those other versions, they are watered down.
The devil can't completely destroy the word of God, so what did he do?
he compromised it as was his device from the beginning...
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field
which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God
said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
It is amazing the amount of all the different Bible versions out there.
A recent trip to the Bible section in the book store revealed so many
as the men's devotional, the Catholic, the NIV, not even sure if there
was a KJV but did see a NKJV, amplified, message bible, ESV, and the
list goes on. If Satan can get us out of unity, not having a scripture
that's the same. What Bible would a beginner know to choose, they may
be overwhelmed and walk away. What dis-unity and confusion this brings.
The Sword Of The Spirit is the Word of God, which is now watered down
in those other versions.
Churches have a lot of needs and things aren't happening like the Word
is saying they should. Is there deception, the devil deceiving us as to
what God is really trying to say?
God's name is who he is, it is proclaimed in Exodus...
Exodus 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The
LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant
in goodness and truth, 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving
iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the
guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and
upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth
generation.
If I'm baptized in Jesus name and have the name of Jesus but walking in
unforgivingness and I'm not being kind and am unmerciful, then I have
not taken on his character.
If I wish to lay hands on someone to be healed in Jesus name, but in my
life is not mercy, forgiveness, goodness and all these things that is
God, then I am speaking a name that has no anointing, it has no depth
because im not living in the name of Jesus...
Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the
name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
When I read all these different Bible versions, and I see the devil
doesn't want us to "fast and pray", the one two punch that casts him
out, that alarms me.
2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but
mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
The word of God is our sword, it is our weapon to the pulling down of
strong holds. The devil doesn't want his strong hold pulled down so he
compromised the word with these other versions.
Holiness:
The giver of life who gave up his life that we may live.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the
angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that
he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
John 10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I
lay down my life for the sheep.
In his name we are buried in baptism.
In his name we enter into life.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved,
and shall go in and out, and find pasture. [10] The thief cometh not,
but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they
might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in
all manner of conversation; [16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for
I am holy.
Saith The Lord
June-05-2005
There is a way called holiness, it is a higher way, it is the way that
I walk, it is a way of true life. In it, if you will walk and you will
find the life that I live. For I the Lord your God am holy, I ask you
not to touch the unclean thing, not so that I can condemn you, but
because I want you to be aware that there is a better way to live. The
only reason I ask you to change, is so that you can have the good life
that I have promised. For I came that you might have life, and life
more abundantly. I did not come to condemn the world, I came to show
the world that there is a better way, and that way is found in me. I
have called you to walk the way of holiness, for I am holy. Sanctify
yourselves, set yourselves apart. You long for fulfillment, you long
for and desire to find what this life is all about for you, you will
find it in the way of holiness. Forsake not the old path, it is
entrenched in my word, it is a way that you must take also. I will not
make any variations for anyone. You must be holy for I am holy. You
must be filled with my spirit and allow my spirit to have his way in
your life before you can walk this way. Come, present yourselves before
me, empty yourself of yourself so that I can come in, so that I can set
up thrones. Some of you have veered away, you have looked at this and
said it is no longer important, but I say I am watching. Why would you
turn away from the path of life and look for it somewhere else. I alone
have the words of life and it is found in the way of holiness. Come,
reconsecrate yourselves saith the Lord.
