Before we get started, it is important to know one cannot be "saved" without having received the Holy Ghost. And for one to be "saved" they must have heard, believed AND obeyed the New Covenant Plan of Salvation, which has been in effect ever since the Jewish Feast Day of Pentecost, in Acts Chapter 2, until this very day. If you have not recieved the Holy Ghost "The Bible Way", then read the New Testament Plan of Salvation and also The Whole Family in Heaven and Earth is Named

Otherwise we can jump right into a few things.

New Testament Plan of Salvation:

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

To be on the vine and producing fruit we must first be connected to the vine, to be born of God, born of spirit. Let's drop in on a conversation Jesus had with Nicodemus...

John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: [2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. [3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. [4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

When God created all that was created, he made a parallel between what is in the natural and what is spiritual, there is always a similarity one with the other. Nicodemus naturually thought of the flesh birth, while Jesus spoke of spitiual birth.

When one hears the Gospel of Christ, and if faith is present, conception is made. That person is then in the spiritual womb and waiting to be born of spirit, Born Again...

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The major problem with today's church is we are not being told the whole truth. We are lead to believe we receive the Holy Ghost at the moment we confess Jesus as our saviour, but this is conception being made and not yet born of spirit.

We are born of spirit the same way as the original New Testament Church received the Holy Ghost in the Book Of Acts in chapter two. Nothing has changed since then, we ARE still the New Testament Church. Jesus said, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

So let's pop in at the birth of the New Testament Church and see what we, too, should expect...

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. [3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

It is NOT the speaking in tongues which gives us the Holy Spirit, this is simply evidence that one has been born again, born of Spirit. The parallel to this is a mother giving birth in a hospital room. The baby comes forth and begins to cry. It is not the crying that brought forth the baby, but is evidence a baby was just brought forth. And, so it is of being born of spirit, speaking in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance.

Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Jesus said thou hearest the sound thereof, and so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Friends, the denominational church is not teaching us this very important key doctrine. We are being told that we receive the Holy Ghost the minute we believe. They are mislead, mistaking conception in the womb for being born again.

So How can we be Saved?

If we apply the gospel of Christ, we will find Life. The gospel is the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus, which is applied in the salvation application in the book of Acts...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Repent = Death
Water Baptism = Burial
Receive Holy Spirit = Resurrection

Water baptism needs to be full immersion into the water and having the name of Jesus pronounced over us...

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Now that we are on the vine producing fruit, let us improve our relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us draw more close to Him.

The Whole Family in Heaven and Earth is Named:

Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
[15] Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Hebrews 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

There is a parallel between the natural realm and the spiritual. When one hears the gospel of Christ and it is mixed with faith, then begins life in the church womb.

But that does not stop there. Jesus said we must come forth out of the church womb in order to become part of the kingdom...

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Let's talk about that for a moment.

In the book of Acts, we see the question to Peter and to the rest of the apostles regarding what to do. Jesus was preached unto them and they were pricked in the heart...

Acts 2:37-38 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Peter said to:

1. Repent
2. Be baptized in Jesus name for remission of sins
3. Receive Holy Ghost

And they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. They heard the word and responded to it. They submitted themselves to it and obeyed it. Remember, Jesus said in John 3:5 "...Except a man be born of born or water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

Baptism is by immersion (not sprinkling)...

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
[5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
[6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

When we hear the gospel and is mixed with faith, we become life in the church womb.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Note the above baptism must be mixed with faith or is invalid(baptism without faith).

We must be baptized in Jesus name (not the generic titles of Father, Son, Holy Ghost)....

Let's find out what His followers "SAID" in order to obey (fulfill) Jesus' Great Commission of Matthew 28:19...

THE GREAT COMMISSION IN ACTION:

Acts ‪2:38‬ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Acts ‪8:16‬ "(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the NAME of the Lord Jesus)."

Acts 19:5 "When they heard this, they were baptized in the NAME of the Lord Jesus."

No one has ever found a single scripture in the entire Bible where anyone was ever baptized with the words from Matthew 28:19 (Father, Son, Holy Ghost).

Some ask, "Why didn’t Jesus just come out and say to baptize in My name?" And I submit to you that it was for the same reason that He spoke in parables. While some didn't get it, those who had ears to hear, did. Likewise, today, some still don't get it when they read His Word, but those who have ears to hear, do. And not only do they understand, they obey His Word. And "quoting" Matthew 28:19 does NOT fulfill Matthew 28:19. Get it?

And beside that, Matthew is not the only account of the great commission...

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

In conclusion, to receive Jesus name and enter in the kingdom family (the Bible way) is to...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Entertainment:

Many sit at the alter for hours worshipping, but they are not worshipping God. The alter is called the Entertainment Center and it has television and games.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

Some say it's harmless, choosing to spend time being entertained. But what communion has light with darkness?

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. [13] Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: [14] But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. [15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Idols In The Heart:

Ezekiel 6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

Ezekiel 14:3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

Ezekiel 14:5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

Ezekiel 20:16 Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.

God is a Jealous God

What happens, many times, when we bring in idols into our throne room (our heart)?...

1 Samuel 5:2 When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.
[3] And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
[4] And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.

We need to keep our throne room clean, having gold and silver and precious things, not to take into it the things of the world. We need to guard the gates to our throne room, what we see, what we hear, and what we say.

Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. (19) For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

1 Thessalonians 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

1 Thessalonians 3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

1 Samuel 7:3 And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.

1 Samuel 12:20 And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; 12:21 And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.

1 Samuel 16:6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD's anointed is before him. [7] But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Heart: Double Minded

James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Serving other gods

How many times do we serve two or more gods? For example, when we come off of fasting for the Lord, then we turn and serve another god, a god of gluttony. Others serve the god of fear, some pastors fear to preach what really needs to be preached, and what many really need to hear, due to fear some may leave the church.

God's People & Other Gods:

Many of God's people have other gods before them, and go after these other gods. The children of Israel continued to go after other gods and God was grieved. The Lord says he sees the world, he sees the abuse, he sees the rejection, he sees the evil it is before his face every morning. God turns to his people and asks are you willing to allow me to purify you, that I can walk with you.

Jesus was perfected by the things that he suffered...
Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; [9] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Many times we want to run from those who things which should have perfected us.

Zechariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. [11] For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

God wants relationship. He is going to bring his chosen through the fire. If in the end result the Lord were to open his hand and pour out lustrous diamonds and fine gems and jewels and say, This is my Bride.

Many in the church are going after other gods, were going after other things that make us feel loved, that make us feel comforted, other things to satisfy only what God can satisfy. We claim to have only one God but he can count the amount of gods that we actually have. We need to realize the cleaner we become, the closer to God we can get. The cleaner we allow him to make us, the closer to him we can come. He is pure and he is holy and to come into his presence in the depths he wants us to come to, is going to take a cleansing, it's going to take a purifying.

God wants a people, he longs for his bride to come, but it is his mercy which holds back his hand of wrath and holds back his hand of judgement because he wants us to get right with him. He stretches forth his hand to his people all the day long but his people don't always hear, they don't always see, and they don't always know, but he wants them to draw nigh unto him and be his people.

Lord forgive us for pride, forgive our arrogancey. Forgive us for putting the cares of the world first, and for having a divided desire for you. Help us that our desire would be for you and you alone, and not committing adultery with the worship of idols, entertainment and what this world had to offer. Purge out whatever hinders us to come closer to you. Help us to be a clean vessel for your presence to dwell in. We want the miracles signs and wonders, but how can that flow through a polluted vessel, purify us Lord that we may be vessel that reverence you and placing you first. Amen.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: [20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? [32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. [33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Refined In The Fire:

Zechariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

Daniel 3:4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, [5] That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: [6] And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Daniel 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. [20] And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

God is with us, and delivers us:

Daniel 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. [24] Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. [25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. [26] Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. [27] And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. [28] Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. [29] Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Promoted by fire:

Daniel 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

Our Relationship With Jesus:

Jesus desires an intimate relationship, a close bonding with us all. We all have freedom of choice with our Lord, we must allow him to draw us into a oneness with him. Our daily lives with him creates a tapestry which is continually in the weaving. This will undoubtedly include trials and hardships along the way but allowing God to be God, he will lead us through.

We embrace the storms in our life (which come anyway, to both sinners and saints), these can strengthen both faith and trust in the Lord. These trials make us more than what we would have been, had we not gone through in the first place.

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Luke puts it like this...

Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life

When I say Jesus is the way, the only way, and there is no other way ... this is like saying marriage vows at a wedding, this is my spouse, my only spouse, and there is no other spouse. I put the circumstance into the Lord's hand and submit to his direction and he will be faithful to lead me through.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Here we see the storm came unto both houses, but the house built with Jesus withstood the storm...

Matthew 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. [26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: [27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

How do we become Founded Upon A Rock?

First, remember we are bought with a price and are not our own...

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only (James 1:22)…

James 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. [14] What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? [15] If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, [16] And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? [17] Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? [26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: [34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: [35] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: [36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. [37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? [38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? [39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. [41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: [42] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: [43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Matthew 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? [45] Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. [46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

The more close we come to God, the more we endeavor to go and do as he did...

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

The Giver Of Life gave up His life that We May Live.

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

John 10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

In his name we are buried in baptism.
In his name we enter into life.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. [10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; [16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Saith the Lord
July-21-2019

Holiness is not just an outward appearance, it is not just what you look like, but it is your heart. The heart of the matter is the holiness. Do you find me holy in your heart. Do you bow down to me in your heart. Do you look to me through your heart. Do you ask Jesus make my heart holy, because the outer appearance will not make you holy, it will not allow you into my kingdom, for the outer appearance is not what I look at. I look at the heart, and when it bows down I see that. I say look into your heart and say Jesus give me holiness.

Word of God - Sword of the Lord and Bible Versions:

Exodus 34:5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

God's name is his character, and cannot separate him from his name. His name is what his name means: merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.

God's name is not simply a word that we speak with our wits, but its a character, a nature, its a state of heart and mind and action, its a place in the spirit, its who he is. When people truly see his name they will truly bow and kneel before him, its at his name that every knee will bow and tongue confess that he is Lord.

In Acts 19:13-16 those used his name but didn't walk in his name, they weren't living like the apostles, and they ended up wounded and fled naked. They wielded a sword that wasn't even sharp, but because they did not walk in his name, it was dull and heavy. They needed to be baptized in Jesus Name and have the blood over them, so to walk truly in that name.

The Word under attack.

When comparing the different versions of the Bible, we notice major differences. For example, In Matthew chapter 17 (KJV) Jesus talks about casting out a devil...

Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

This verse is not in the NIV. What scripture do we suppose the devil would like to take out from the word of God? the one that talks about about prayer and fasting, so no one can cast him out.

There is less anointing in those other versions, they are watered down. The devil can't completely destroy the word of God, so what did he do? he compromised it as was his device from the beginning...

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

It is amazing the amount of all the different Bible versions out there. A recent trip to the Bible section in the book store revealed so many as the men's devotional, the Catholic, the NIV, not even sure if there was a KJV but did see a NKJV, amplified, message bible, ESV, and the list goes on. If Satan can get us out of unity, not having a scripture that's the same. What Bible would a beginner know to choose, they may be overwhelmed and walk away. What dis-unity and confusion this brings.

The Sword Of The Spirit is the Word of God, which is now watered down in those other versions.

Churches have a lot of needs and things aren't happening like the Word is saying they should. Is there deception, the devil deceiving us as to what God is really trying to say?

God's name is who he is, it is proclaimed in Exodus...

Exodus 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

If I'm baptized in Jesus name and have the name of Jesus but walking in unforgivingness and I'm not being kind and am unmerciful, then I have not taken on his character.

If I wish to lay hands on someone to be healed in Jesus name, but in my life is not mercy, forgiveness, goodness and all these things that is God, then I am speaking a name that has no anointing, it has no depth because im not living in the name of Jesus...

Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

When I read all these different Bible versions, and I see the devil doesn't want us to "fast and pray", the one two punch that casts him out, that alarms me.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

The word of God is our sword, it is our weapon to the pulling down of strong holds. The devil doesn't want his strong hold pulled down so he compromised the word with these other versions.

Holiness:

The giver of life who gave up his life that we may live.

June-05-2005

There is a way called holiness, it is a higher way, it is the way that I walk, it is a way of true life. In it, if you will walk and you will find the life that I live. For I the Lord your God am holy, I ask you not to touch the unclean thing, not so that I can condemn you, but because I want you to be aware that there is a better way to live. The only reason I ask you to change, is so that you can have the good life that I have promised. For I came that you might have life, and life more abundantly. I did not come to condemn the world, I came to show the world that there is a better way, and that way is found in me. I have called you to walk the way of holiness, for I am holy. Sanctify yourselves, set yourselves apart. You long for fulfillment, you long for and desire to find what this life is all about for you, you will find it in the way of holiness. Forsake not the old path, it is entrenched in my word, it is a way that you must take also. I will not make any variations for anyone. You must be holy for I am holy. You must be filled with my spirit and allow my spirit to have his way in your life before you can walk this way. Come, present yourselves before me, empty yourself of yourself so that I can come in, so that I can set up thrones. Some of you have veered away, you have looked at this and said it is no longer important, but I say I am watching. Why would you turn away from the path of life and look for it somewhere else. I alone have the words of life and it is found in the way of holiness. Come, reconsecrate yourselves saith the Lord.
